Injury Update

So the results are in and it's official. I strained the flexor tendon of my large toe on my left foot. And as per recommendation from my doctor: no more dancing until September.

And so it is with sadness that I have to say all performances are on hold until further notice, but I promise as soon as I am back on my feet I'll let you know where you can come find me dancing like a fool. So stay tuned ;)

Because of this hiatus, along with a personal desire to redirect the focus of my work to a more body-conscious, student-oriented practice, I have also left NiaMoves and 24Hr Fitness. I enjoyed working at both of these locations as well as the people I met there.

With the break I'll be focusing on organizing for future plans which include more time spent as an instructor at DEFINE and starting my own bellydance technique class at The Original Henna Company in the Heights. I am very excited about both of these endeavors and look forward to embarking on them with great anticipation!

Thanks to everyone for their support, concern, and patience. This has been an interesting experience, but not wholly a negative one, so no worries.
